An Open Letter to Our Clients and Candidates,
I would like to explain a little about the executive search industry. The very nature of what we do, in most cases, is a zero sum game, therefore for every winner, often there is a company who is losing someone they would prefer to keep. It also stands to reason that not all companies will be our clients, nor will 100% of the companies appreciate what we do. However, it is important for our clients and candidates to know that our high degree of success has been achieved by carefully guarding our reputation and maintaining high professional and ethical standards to ensure that our integrity remains intact. These considerations are more important to our company than any single deal, search assignment, or check for our services.
Additionally, we have made a conscious business decision to not accept, as a client, any company of which we would not work for ourselves. This simply means that reputation should be as important to our clients as it is to us, therefore if a company or financial institution enjoys a negative reputation, then we would have to decline an engagement from them simply because our reputation would suffer as a result of being associated with that entity.
That being said, you have my word as president of CFC that when you utilize our services, you will always be satisfied with the manner in which you are treated. Many years ago, my father told me "When both people walk away with a smile on their face, you have made a good deal. Make it a policy to only involve yourself in good deals."
Our goal is to help your company be better. Our goal for our candidates is to effect positive change in their careers. We are very good at our profession and we always act in the best interest of our clients because we believe that long term relationships are better than short term gain. This, among other reasons, is why the International Factoring Association has granted us the exclusive "Endorsed Vendor Status" in the area of executive search firms.
