A Letter From Our President
Since 2002, Commercial Finance Consultants (CFC) has grown into the oldest, largest, and best executive search business in the commercial finance industry. Our commitment to excellence, professionalism, and integrity is unwavering. CFC has placed more candidates during its existence than all of our competitors combined. We have placed candidates in Factoring, Asset Based Lending, Purchase Order Financing, and many other areas of commercial finance. CFC has recruited people in every discipline, be it business development, operations, portfolio management, compliance, credit, accounting, and finance. In addition to the augmentation of existing companies through talent acquisition, Commercial Finance Consultants has played an integral role in more start-ups than any other firm across the nation.
Unlike many of our competitors, we have not primarily placed people who are unemployed or on the active job market. Realizing that not all individuals seeking a change are quality hires, we consistently navigate the market to source those who are not actively seeking a change and would otherwise be unaware of what is available to them. We strive to locate the right fit, finding the best individuals so that we can present career-advancing opportunities. Our goal has never been to take talent away from any organization, but to make certain that the best talent is aware of the opportunities available to them. We believe that the right talent, in the right positions, can ensure the growth and prosperity of our great industry in its entirety.
CFC keeps our finger on the pulse of the industry, staying apprised of who does what, and who has challenges in credit, operations, or new business development. Our massive, proprietary database of industry professionals highlights the strengths, weaknesses, backgrounds, and experiences of key individuals at every position level in our industry. We look at an individual’s character, values, and work ethic to ensure that when a match is made, it is a lasting one.
We are the only firm in our industry that has been a member of the Secured Finance Network (the old Commercial Finance Association), the International Factoring Association, and the American Factoring Association. We have been event sponsors, exhibitors, panelists, a board member of the American Factoring Association, and have actively lobbied in Washing D.C. for our industry.
In addition to the executive search business, we have created subsidiary companies to provide other valuable resources and services to our industry, such as operation manuals, expert witnesses, collateral field exams, valuations, portfolio reviews, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
I feel very confident that Commercial Finance Consultants has the professional team, systems, policies, and procedures in place to continue providing the excellent level of service that you not only expect, but also deserve.
Sincerely,
Christopher Rains,
President of Commercial Finance Consultants
