Bunny Man

Two things that don’t really go together are bunny costumes and axe murderers. However… There is this one urban legend that combines the two…

The events took place close to Fairfax, VA, in 1970, by the Colchester Overpass. Supposedly, victims were chased and threatened by an axe-wielding man dressed in a bunny costume who claimed they were “trespassing” and that he would “chop off their heads”. Needless to say, no one stuck around to find out if his threats were true.
While this urban legend seems unlikely because it is so strange, it also seems possible for the very same reason. All of the events took place at night, so no one was ever able to give an accurate description of the man, but if someone encountered a violent person in the dark, imagining a bunny costume seems rather out of place. The fact that there are multiple accounts describing the same thing actually gives credence to the bizarre story despite the otherwise lack of evidence.

The moral of the story is that sometimes unexpected things fit together perfectly. That is how we here at CFC feel about making placements. We work with the best companies to discover their needs and what they can offer prospective employees. In the same way, we take the time to get to know our candidates so we can understand the expertise they bring to the table.
